"Like the Rolling Stones jamming with a laptop"- Alan McGee

Jones and James have been musical outlaws for nearly 30 years now, they first played together in the legendary (and unrecorded) group London SS before going their separate ways - Jones to The Clash, and James to Generation X.

A few years later, deciding to embrace the new musical technology, Mick Jones formed Big Audio Dynamite with Don Letts and Tony James celebrated the excesses of fashion in Sigue Sigue Sputnik.

The first Carbon/Silicon gig was performed in May this year and their instantly accessible, upbeat mix of guitars and loops didn't disappoint long-term fans.

Jones says the music the music he and James are making “represents our past, present and future in our own style”.
