Tom lives happily with his parents in a small house at the foot of a mountain until one day, out of the blue, his mum disappears. His father says that she has been kidnapped by a monster and that there is nothing they can do to get her back. But Tom has other ideas and undertakes a dangerous mission to save his mum from a terrible fate.
