Polarbear - one of the most exciting performance poets in the UK - has worked with local writers to create spoken word pieces that question how evolutionary theory applies to real life. Come and see them perform alongside Polarbear, this is a one-off special event that we’ll all leave talking about.

As part of the Darwin Festival, Carole Jahme combines comedy with Darwinian theories as she asks:

What physical and behavioural traits do we find attractive in the opposite sex and why?
What is the battle of the sexes really all about?
Should alphas be ruthless or benevolent?

Carole Jahme is a writer and performer, and the author of Beauty and the Beasts, Woman, Ape and Evolution.
