The Junction

Robyn Hitchcock is one of rock's most respected and beloved iconoclasts. Before embarking on a solo career he was the leader of punk / new wave combo The Soft Boys, cited by REM as a major influence. The prolific English singer / songwriter / guitarist's vivid surrealist songcraft has won him an uncommonly devoted international fan base, and created an ongoing demand for rare and unreleased Hitchcock material.

The Junction’s experimental ‘scratch’ night offers artists the chance to present new ideas and extracts of work in development – and then invites the audience to tell them exactly what they thought about it. Join us to sample performance art from the region and share feedback in the bar afterwards.

SIN Cru: hiphop collective, Sin Cru, showcase ‘Butterfly Stitch,’ a piece of dance theatre which combines spectacle with grace and precision.

Eamonn Flemming: regional deviser and performer ‘scratches’ Magic Thinking, a new one man show, in association with Norwich Arts Centre.

Dog Kennel Hill Project: dance performance artists Ben Ash, Henrietta Hale and Rachel Lopez de la Nieta present excerpts from The Odd Honesty Code, originally commissioned by The Place Theatre, London.

PIT: Fringe award winning theatre company, PIT, present a concoction of live music, animation, new writing, puppetry and everything else you can imagine.

Green Bean Dance: contemporary dance choreographer Katie Green showcases Caught up, a piece originally created at Dance 4; three dancers playfully test their limits, learn from and support each other.
