The Award Winning Mince Pie - SOLD OUT!

THIS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT

A service station somewhere. Christmas 2007. About 2.40am. Rhod Gilbert finds himself standing in the Coffee shop bit aggressively demanding to know more about an 'Award-Winning Mince Pie' on display on the counter. Suddenly aware of what he is doing, Rhod is forced to acknowledge that he may be having a very mild nervous breakdown. This is the slightly ridiculous story of how one mince pie broke the camel's back.

Strictly 16+. Bar open from 7pm.

Dear Body

High energy physical theatre, comedy, and satirical comment on human nature collide in the latest slice of thought-provoking dance theatre from Luca Silvestrini’s award-winning Protein Dance

A satire on our growing fixation with body care and image, Dear Body employs wit, wisdom and a cast of local performers alongside professional dancers to analyse the most private relationship of all: the one we have with ourselves.

Please note: this performance contains nudity.

A co-production with DanceXchange, commissioned by Swindon Dance, DanceXchange, Southbank Centre, Centre Chorégraphique National Roubaix Pas to Calais, Yorkshire Dance and Hextable Dance with support from Brighton Dome and Wyvern Theatre.

“Silvestrini’s work is both a funny, barbed consideration of the dangerous pursuit of beauty and a brightly polished piece of dance theatre”  Time Out

Suitable for ages 16+

Bar open from 7pm.
