Award winning Scottish folk singer-songwriter Karine Polwart’s simple but evocative style has established her as one of the genre's most respected artists. It's been some time since we last heard from Karine although she has hardly been idle. Since the release of her acclaimed fourth album This Earthly Spell in 2008 there has been a new baby, a raft of rewarding collaborations with everyone from The Burns Unit to Lau and even a stint of radio presenting.
