BBC Radio Workshops: Masterclass
A Q&A with BBC Development Producer Fiona Kelcher, for experienced writers interested in writing radio drama. This workshop is specifically designed for professional writers who have been previously produced on radio or are looking to extend their work from the stage into the recorded medium.

Getting Started

Hotbed New Writing Masterclass: Making New Work, Work
Join writers, directors, actors, critics and literary managers in a workshop on how new plays come together. Including influential practitioners from near and far including many of the Hotbed 2008 commissioned playwrights. Working with the Hotbed Acting Ensemble, this is an opportunity to see how work gets from the page to the stage, to hear form the experts and to ask the questions you have always wanted to ask. This is a practical workshop for all writers, actors, theatre makers and audience members. There will be some writing, much discussion, major insights and an opportunity to network with some of the best writers in the region.

A workshop for students led by Menagerie Theatre's Paul Bourne, director of Going Potty by Ranjit Bolt. Work with the acting company on the set of the production prior to seeing a performance. See how it was all put together and how farces work!
