Cambridge's very own new writing group presents staged-readings of short plays from their outstanding repertoire of work created by writers from the city and beyond.

Menagerie Futures: Paul Crossley: Mon 7 July 5.30pm
Work from the Menagerie writers of the future. Staged-readings of short plays from some of the East of England's outstanding talents. Tonight Paul Crossley's Comeback, a dark comedy about fame.

The Empire Builders: Boris Vian: Mon 7 July 7pm
The festival ensemble stage-reads Boris Vian's classic play. Destined for a new translation and national tour by Menagerie in 2009, this is a chance to catch a major production in its early stage.

Menagerie Futures: Daniel O'Brien: Mon 7 July 9pm
Work from the Menagerie writers of the future. Staged-readings of short plays from some of the East of England's outstanding talents. Tonight Daniel O'Brien's Over The Hill, a bizarre comedy of a modern man.
